Fougueuse et intransigeante, talentueuse et inspirante, Cindy Castillo se distingue sur la scène internationale de l’orgue avec des programmes qui explorent les croisements possibles entre l’orgue et d’autres langages artistiques tels que la danse, la vidéo ou la musique électronique. Elle a ainsi conçu « Offrande » qui propose le film muet de Carl Dreyer « la Passion de Jeanne d’Arc » accompagné à l’orgue par « l’Offrande Musicale » de Johann Sebastian Bach. Ou encore « À contre-courants » qui développe autour du choral « An Wasserflüssen Babylon » une aventure sonore et visuelle avec la vidéaste Lise Bruyneel.

Son activité de concertiste la mène de Tokyo à New-York en passant par Lubumbashi, ainsi que dans de nombreux pays d’Europe. Elle a ainsi joué ou jouera prochainement à Bozar, Ars Musica (Bruxelles), Salle philharmonique de Liège, Festival de Sablé, Festival Toulouse les orgues, Metropolitan Arts Center et Suntory Hall (Tokyo).ls), at the Philharmonic Hall in Liège, the Festival de Sablé and the Festival Toulouse les orgues.

Premiers Prix des Conservatoires de Bruxelles et de Paris, Master en Musique à Namur et diplôme de Spécialisation à Strasbourg, ses maîtres sont Benoît Mernier, Jean Ferrard, Christophe Mantoux, Michel Bouvard et Olivier Latry. Lauréate des Fondations Rotary, de la Vocation, Wernaers et de Lacour, Premier prix du Concours National Axion Classics 2000 (Belfius), elle a été désignée « artiste en résidence » en 2008-2009 au Sapporo Concert Hall.

Parallèlement à son activité de concertiste, Cindy Castillo est programmatrice et présentatrice à Musiq3, la radio classique francophone belge. Elle enseigne l’orgue aux côtés de Benoît Mernier à l’IMEP (Namur) dans le cadre d’un nouveau projet pédagogique baptisé « OrgueStudio ».  Elle est organiste titulaire à la Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Bruxelles.oth in France), as well as the Metropolitan Arts Center and Suntory Hall (Tokyo).
